STRATOMATION - UNSHARP STRATEGY 04 / 07
DIFFICULTY ● ● ● ● ●

UNSHARP.

Enter at the source of the move — before the obvious reversal forms.
Strong push → stall → reversal. The anti-chase strategy: position early, after defense is proven.

STEP 1: SETUP — SPOT THE LEAD
  1. Look for a strong, aggressive lead candle — a large body with clear intent.
  2. It should create urgency and liquidity — retail either chased it or got stopped by it.
  3. Note the lead candle's high and low — they define the boundaries of the reaction.
  4. Drop to the 5M / 1M chart and watch what happens next.
STEP 2: THE PATTERN — STRUCTURE
LONG ENTRY STOP LEAD STRONG PUSH CONSOLIDATION DEFENSE WICKS EXECUTION TARGET OPP. LIQUIDITY RESISTANCE SUPPORT
LEAD · CONSOLIDATE · EXECUTE = EARLY REVERSAL ENTRY
STEP 3: ENTRY RULES — SOURCE OF THE MOVE
▼ SHORT · AFTER GREEN LEAD

Sell the execution candle back down.

TRIGGER Green lead up · consolidation at high + upper wicks · red execution breaks below range.
ENTRY On the execution break — early, before retail sees it
STOP ↑ above lead candle high
TP → opposite-side liquidity
▲ LONG · AFTER RED LEAD

Buy the execution candle back up.

TRIGGER Red lead down · consolidation at low + lower wicks · green execution breaks above range.
ENTRY On the execution break — early, before retail sees it
STOP ↓ below lead candle low
TP → opposite-side liquidity
STEP 4: PROVE THE DEFENSE

The consolidation is not noise — it's evidence. Look for price defending a level repeatedly.

  • Tight range — price stalls instead of continuing aggressively.
  • Repeated wicks at the same level — big hands stepping in.
  • Failed pushes that keep getting rejected.
  • The longer defense holds, the stronger the EXECUTION break.
STEP 5: WHEN NOT TO TRADE
✓ IDEAL
  • Aggressive, large-body lead candle
  • Clean consolidation with tight range
  • Clear defense wicks at one level
  • Decisive execution candle (no hesitation)
✗ AVOID
  • Weak lead candle — no real urgency
  • Consolidation that keeps drifting (no defense)
  • Multiple false breaks back into the range
  • Chasing after the execution is already extended
STEP 6: RISK MANAGEMENT

Enter at the source, not after the chase. Stop beyond the lead candle's extreme. Target the opposite-side liquidity.
